Stephen keshi names 23- man squad

   Keshi names 23-man squad

There were not too many surprises when Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi named his final 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Captains Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo made the cut, along with the England-based trio of John Mikel Obi, Shola Ameobi and Victor Moses.

Emmanuel Emenike is expected to lead the attack, with Peter Odemwingie also in the squad, having recently been allowed back in the national team fold after mending his relationship with the Super Eagles boss.
However, African Cup of Nations hero Sunday Mba and Ejike Uzoenyi, who was the Most Valuable Player at this year's African Nations Championship, miss out.
The reigning Africa Cup of Nations champions are set for their fifth World Cup appearance, where they are in Group F along with tournament favourites Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran.
The squad is made up of three goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders and seven strikers - some of whom might adopt a wide-forward or winger position.
Full Nigeria squad:
Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama, Austin Ejide, Chigozie Agbim.
Defenders: Joseph Yobo, Elderson Echiejile, Juwon Oshaniwa, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Kenneth Omeruo, Efe Ambrose, Kunle Odunlami.
Midfielders: John Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi, Ramon Azeez, Michael Uchebo, Reuben Gabriel.
Strikers: Osaze Odemwingie, Ahmed Musa, Shola Ameobi, Emmanuel Emenike, Babatunde Michael, Victor Moses, Uche Nwofor.
