Enyeama officially retire from National team

JUST IN: Senate in closed session on meeting with Buhari

The Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, had told our correspondent last week that the upper chamber would discuss the procedure for the screening after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had read out the names contained in the sealed envelope sent to him by Buhari.

Bishop David Oyedepo gets another grand child

Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a. Winners Chapel is currently savouring the joy of being a grandfather. His first daughter, Love, has just been delivered of her first child. Love, who two years ago got married to Steve Adekola Ogah, was delivered of the bundle of joy on Friday last week in Maryland, USA.


Bishop Oyedepo joyfully made the announcement in church last Sunday, telling the congregation that Love had defended her PhD two weeks before she put to bed.







Trailer crushed car in a ghastly accident


It happened yesterday morning in Odukpani LGA of Cross River State. The trailer was said to have lost control and slammed into the vehicle. The driver was crushed. so sad, More pics below

President Buhari met with Dogara and Saraki in Aso rock

President Muhammadu Buhari last night met behind closed doors with the leaderships of the Senate and House of Representatives at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Senate President Bukola Saraki and House Speaker  Yakubu Dogara, led the leadership of the two chambers to the State House.

Court stops Diezani from travelling from UK till next April

Former Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke will not be able to leave the United Kingdom (UK) until April, next year, The Nation learnt yesterday.

That is when the investigations into allegations against her are expected to have been concluded, Judiciary sources said.

She is expected to be arraigned before the magistrate for alleged money laundering and bribery,
